Doug, Cooper and Kevin interviewed for Graveyard Show January 29, 2010

The Graveyard Show recently interviewed ZMD director Kevin Hamedani and actors, Doug Fahl and Cooper Hopkins for their weekly podcast.  They discussed working with each other and the process of shooting ZMD.  They also talked about the After Dark Horrorfest and the theatrical release of the movie.

A brand new trailer for ZMD has been posted on BloodyDisgusting.com.  It is also on the Horrorfest Website as well.  This trailer really “hams” up the comedy aspect of the film.

ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction, part of the After Dark Horrorfest 4 “8 Films to Die For” will be released on DVD on March 23rd.  The DVD can be purchased as part of the Horrorfest Box Set or individually. After Dark Releases New ZMD Poster & More Info About the Festival December 18, 2009

After Dark Films recently acquired ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction as part of Horror Fest 4.  Screening dates are January 29-Feburary 4th, 2010 in 30 cities nationwide.  The 30 cities have yet to be selected but After Dark’s site says most will be announced by January 1st as theaters are booked.

This is the new poster for the Horrorfest.  This time the lead actors aren’t featured on the poster, but it still looks pretty cool.  Click on the poster for a larger view.  The Original Poster and the new International Poster are featured below as well.

After Dark has an official site online for the Horror Fest 4. ZMD will be added to the site lineup very soon.  You can view the one sheet on ZMD with trailer and the new poster here.

Making of ZMD Documentary World Premiere at Fremont Zombie Walk July 3, 2009

All you zombie fans, make sure you come to the Fremont Outdoor Cinema’s Zombie Walk this Friday, July 3rd.  Festivities start around 6pm.  They are trying to break the Guinness World Record for most zombies.  After the walk the outdoor cinema is showing a screening of Shaun of the Dead on two screens.  The producers of ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction will be screening a world premiere documentary on the making of ZMD prior to Shaun of the Dead.  This 10-minute film, directed by Ann Mendenhall, features behind the scenes peeks and cast interviews of the indie feature which is wowing audiences on the festival circuit.  Seating is limited and a lot of people will be in attendance, so get there early.  Movie start time is 10pm.

 

ZMD Gets Great Reviews from LA Film Festival July 3, 2009

ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction screened at the LA Film Festival on June 25th and 27th to sold out crowds.  The audience seemed to enjoy the movie.

ZMD Launches New Website May 27, 2009

With less than a week away from the Seattle premiere of Zombies of Mass Destruction, the producers have launched an all new website for the movie.  You can view the trailer, download press kits, view background information on the cast and filmmakers and watch slide shows of stills from the film.  

Also, ZMD will be part of the Crypticon Convention as part of the Northwest Horror Films event, where local horror filmmakers will gather together to discuss the making of their films.
