ZMD at the Philly Q-Fest
The Seattle International Film Festival announced their top audience favorites and Zombies of Mass Destruction took third runner-up as best film of the festival (Golden Space Needle Award). Here are the award results. There were over 300 films screened at the festival, so this placement is very exciting for all those involved in the production.
Here are some Twitter comments made about the recent Seattle screenings.
“Rowdy Siff crowd at ZMD. Lots of cheering. Director said thanks to crew. Patsy covered her eyes often. Two 5′s from us!”
“ZMD = good stuff! Funny Raimi-esque over-the-top gore coupled with stereotyped American paranoia. I’d see it again.”
“Zombies invade Port Gamble! Great crowd movie. Would have been a great midnight feature.”
“Funny as hell, great cast, and tons of Zombie fun.”
“Blood & Guts and laughs as zombies terrorize the diverse residents of Port Gamble. Good flick.”
“Everyone should see ZMD. It’s pretty hilarious.”
“ZMD was really great! Awesome job!”
“ZMD: witty merger of zombie formula with terror paranoia in Port Gamble. Entertaining & well executed.”
Next stop for ZMD is the LA Film Festival on June 25th and 27th and after that, ZMD moves on to the Philadelphia Q-Fest (see image) on July 18th.
